1. Agreed!! Embelishment has the potential to make a boring, redundant post more exciting and gain more of a foothold in the social media universe. Its sad that this type of interaction has become what a majority of humans in the western world call, “communication”. Social media definetely has its place but humans are way too good at telling half truths and pushing a narrative rather than simply telling the truth. Its just like fisherman (screw political correctness) when someone catches a fish…they will lie 99% of the time about the size of the fish. If a narrative doesn't garner enough views, likes, follows, up / down votes then create one that will. Truth is only true if I say that its true, how dare you define what my version of truth is. (See what I did there??) Human beings wouldn't know truth if it slapped them in the face. Social media has done this. But who created social media?? Al Gore invented the intenet and I guess Joe Biden invented social media…I don't know, maybe it was George Soros or Elon Musk. Who really knows?? Just depends on whose version of the truth gains the most interactions on social media. Sad state of affairs indeed…
