That was a really vicious thing for him to say. I would be very hurt if someone said that to me. And it was so gratuitous, and from the sounds of it, completely untrue. Has he ever apologized? If not, I don't see why you should even think about forgiving him, especially since he continues to say cruel and insulting things to you.
