3. So to start, poop is not stored in the rectum unless you actively need to poop! If your diet is good, and you don’t have to poop before sex, you should be in the clear. The only way to guarantee 100% clean is to douche, but there is definitely a learning curve involved and can sometimes make things worse if you don’t know what you’re doing. I regularly go with my gut, no pun intended, and forego douching.
