I've discovered that as a married man with several children, the sex with my wife has many hills and valleys. The intense multiple romp-fests a week, and sudden month-long dry spells are actually quite common amongst married couples. Especially if you've been married for several years. I call it the rubber-band effect. You pull apart for a while, but then whip back together and remind each other that you're still the hot ass couple you started out as. I've started to come to terms with this. Anyway, my achievement? Acceptance that this is the reality of my life for the next decade or more. However, I always know the flame is still there with my wife.
