  1. Yep you are doing the right thing! If you are not ready but she does it anyway, none of you will enjoy it. Or at least not at full extent. You set your boundaries and this is a good thing. She has to respect that as much as you respect her boundaries and her special needs.

  2. Itโ€™s always good to have lube, especially for first time anxieties. Make sure the lube is compatible with the condom, water based and silicone are both good but silicone will last longer! Either way itโ€™s always good to have it handy

  3. not a turn off. my girl masturbates as part of our play she has toys uses toys….whatever, its her body and her orgasms enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I'll try to masturbate with less grip. Buy a fleshlight. Worth every penny. The non-crazy designs are pretty close to the real thing and you can figure out angles and what not to โ€œget you thereโ€ without the stress/anxiety of worrying what your partner thinks.

  5. Hold onto your hats ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be a long one. Disclaimer, this is written from a perspective that religion (all religions) are utter fiction and should have no more affect over adults than fairy tales or ghost stories do. Let's get started. Every structured system that comes into existence, “lives” for a period of time, can have descendants, and competes with other similar structured systems for resources, is subject to a phenomenon we call evolution. Those structured systems that are better able to compete for resources needed to live or spawn further descendants are more likely to have descendants. Intuitively this makes some sense, as if a particular plant or animal is more likely to have descendants, as time goes on those descendants will be more common than those of other plants or animals that didn't fare as well. However, astute readers will note that I originally said “structured system”, not plant or animal or creature or even living thing. This is because the phenomenon of evolution can apply to things that we don't consider to be alive in any way whatsoever. Specifically, memes. The word “meme” is quite recent, arising in early internet culture to describe simple images that follow a template. Perhaps you will remember the now laughably archaic advice animal memes from the 90s through to the early 2000s? A concept that was spawned into a newly found landscape, they replicated quickly, consuming the resource on which they thrive, which is human attention. As time passed, more complicated memes arose which outcompeted the simple advice animals, eventually largely condemning them to extinction. Funny pictures on the internet are not the only memes that exist, however. Any idea or concept that people have is a meme, and also competes for human attention. The concept of “liberty” for example. Liberty is not a real thing, but it's real in the minds of people. Generations have passed with people having different concepts of what liberty means, with some fighting for it and some fighting against it. Different groups of people have opposed each other, both fighting for their own interpretation of what liberty means. And here we get to the point of this dissertation. Religions are also memes. They are concepts in the minds of humans. Different humans will have different ideas about what a religion means to them. But some religious memes are more effective at competing for human attention, the resource that memes need to thrive. One effective “strategy” (keeping in mind that in evolution, the structured system involved need have no ambition, goal, or even awareness) that religious memes have employed throughout the years is that of Authority. If a religion is known to its adherents as being a source of authority, it sets its adherents in opposition to any people who do not accept the authority of that religion. Historically this has resulted in much bloodshed, the death of the non-believers, and the further spread of the religion. Another powerful strategy for religions is Shame. Deriving from the Authority strategy, the religion hands down commandments that “must” be followed by the adherents, and declares that they are flawed individuals if they fail to follow the commandment. The commandments usually involve private sins so that the individual will survive the breaking of them, but feel that they must be especially pious in public life to make up for their private sin. And you guessed it, a prohibition on masturbation makes for a fantastic commandment. It will be frequently broken in private, leading to individuals that feel shame, and that they need to be especially pious to “earn their salvation”. It's hardly surprising that the three most popular religions in the world are authoritarian and proscribe against masturbation (among other things), as these are fantastic tools for keeping the attention on which they thrive. So, long story short, is masturbation a sin? NO. It is called a sin by most religions as those that did not call it a sin generally were not as effective at retaining control over their followers, and died out. Our bodies are (generally) pretty good at telling us what we need. As we have urges to masturbate, it's likely it has some positive effects upon us. And we know that masturbation releases endorphins, helps us feel good, and improves our mental wellbeing. However, like anything that feels good for us it can be overdone. Locking yourself up in your room and masturbating for 12 hours a day is not healthy or well balanced. But masturbating a few times a week as the urge strikes, done safely in the privacy of your own home, is perfectly healthy, and absolutely normal. Any feelings of shame you might experience from doing so are simply the remnants of a religion's survival strategy attacking your mind.

  6. And thatโ€™s fine. But no number being too much is the the answer to OPs question. Your partner count has no bearing on you as a person. It doesnโ€™t define you, as long as you are respecting yourself and your partner then numbers shouldnโ€™t mean anything. If they do thatโ€™s a them problem. Not a you problem. The question wasnโ€™t would you be with someone with a higher number, or does your number define you as a person, or anything like that. It was what number is too hight. The answer is none.
