I didn’t find your age listed in this post, but that could be some type of factor in this as well. I’ve been out of the dating scene for a good long while but I do know that this new crop of men and women (read 30 and under) prefer, or even expect, sex very early in a relationship. Men of my age (35-45) will, on average, be more accepting and appreciative of this thought process of waiting for sex. Obviously, I’m generalizing about the age ranges, but it does feel like an obvious change in thought process toward this subject. I think you should work on that, because there are multiple reasons why someone might not want to have sex right away.
