So, as a woman who was tiny (105lbs and 5’2 at 19, before any medication was started) and is now on the larger side (still 5’2 but 175lbs) I had a VERY hard time being confident at my current weight. That is, until I tried on this unbelievably sexy dress, which I surprised my SO with. I was understandably nervous and insecure as it was a tight fitting dress, but his reaction is what changed how I viewed myself. Instant boner. Looked at me like I was the most attractive/sexiest woman he had ever seen. Was touching my body and couldn’t keep his hands off me. But what really did it was what he said. It was along the lines of that he’s always found me beautiful/gorgeous and it’s only when I try to hide myself out of shame and insecurity that he has a hard time being turned on. Not because I’m unattractive, but because of the energy I’m giving off. Compliment her, but not just in her “sexy” areas. Compliment her eyes, her hair, when she does her make up, compliment that. Compliments can be awkward at first, but if they are genuine and they are spontaneous, they can help build up confidence.
