I knew this post would make me become attacked. And first of all I never said I was looking for women at the moment. I explicitly said I need to get my shit together: financially, mentally, emotionally before dating. Women and men equally want someone who has their shit together. Both parties need to be financially stable that’s a basic fucking requirement. In no way do I think all women are gold diggers! Being financially secure is not the same as being rich and flashing your money. And you’re assuming I see women as objects? You made that conclusion just because I said I need to be a fucking independent adult. Maybe I really don’t need women in this toxic environment where men and women are not at peace with each other. What’s the point of going up to a woman and starting a conversation just to be labeled a harasser? I couldn’t compliment what a woman is wearing because then I’m looking at her and making a value judgment based off her appearance. It’s a lose-lose situation. Thank you for reminding me why it’s a bad idea to get in a relationship in todays social climate.
In movies there's always an obstacle for someone to overcome. Otherwise there would be no plot. Girl saying no is just one of many plot devices. Same as gay guys in dramas always get someone walk in on them or one of them is bi curious and in denial. Normal life is messier. Some people have tons of partners and some almost none. Some people have heaps of action and then go on a massive drought due to circumstances.
